You will be working in a fast-paced, high volume wealth management practice located in the Tampa Bay area, recognized by the Financial Times as one of the top 400 Wealth Management Advisors in the industry. We are seeking an initiative-driven, detail-oriented individual with a business-focused degree or relevant work experience to support the Principal Advisor and his team.
This role is critical to the client experience and requires a high degree of follow-through, strong interpersonal skills, a strong sense of initiative and organizational capability.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle case notes, process correspondence and maintain client case files.

File new statements, account forms and other insurance/investment-related materials

Input data, print proposals and prepare materials at direction of financial representative in preparation for client/prospect meeting

Client Relations – heavy interaction with clients, follow-ups, maintain client files (physical and electronic), client information, and client reports

Prepare all materials for annual client reviews. This may include illustrations, consolidated statements of assets, performance reports, etc.

Prepare/print letters of instruction for client signature

Prepare policies for delivery

Running reports in Envestnet, Morningstar and Albridge

Review insurance applications, conversions and policy changes for completeness and accuracy

Arrange medical, paramedical and any exams necessary for underwriting

Provide current status and account values for non-securities related accounts

Contact and advise clients regarding late payments and other non-securities sales and service-related issues including scheduling

Consult with clients on impact of changes to non-securities related products

Process incoming non-securities related insurance service requests from clients (address changes, bank change information, loan requests and ISA service inquiries)
QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of insurance and/or investment experience.

Florida Life and Health Insurance 2-15 license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Series 7 and 63 or 66 license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly (experience in MS Office Excel, Word, and Outlook required. NetX360 experience is a plus)

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Relationship Manager on our team you will be responsible for enhancing existing client relationships and developing new clients. You will work closely with clients to understand individual situations and present custom solutions. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a CFP certification along with industry licensing (Series 7/66 or 63/65). 10+ Years industry experience is ideal, with at least 5 years of that experience client facing.
As the Relationship Manager, you would be directly responsible for:
- Working with an existing client base to help service their accounts and gain new business
- Creating new client relationships
- Creating new joint work relationships
- Serving as the technical expert on investments for the team
- Serving as the lead for a quarterly Investment Committee Meeting
- Maintaining familiarity with industry and economic trends and applying knowledge to strategic planning, firm branding, and client service
- Participating in the leadership and strategic development of the team

- Work directly with assigned Relationship Coordinators to ensure all client deliverables, including meetings, are being met
- Review of client investments
- Review of client risk tolerance
- Review of client financial plan
- Review of client insurance coverage (if applicable)
- Recommend changes to investments, risk tolerance, and insurance as needed
- Consult with clients on impact of changes to non-securities related products
- Work with our joint-work partners to service and possibly uncover new business
- Educate the client on all aspects of their financial plan – including potential recommendations and changes to same
- Uncover new business opportunities when and where appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of insurance and/or investment experience.
- Florida Life and Health Insurance 2-15 license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Relations
- Knows their assigned client list
- Builds relationships with clients
- Bridges the gap between the clients and the Relationship Manager
- Responds to client inquiries within segment expectations
- Continually keeps the Relationship Manager updated with pertinent information
- Maintain client case files, upload any correspondence to client files and docket
- Ensure client notes are saved in CRM
- Confirms required regulatory documentation is provided to clients at appropriate points in time
- Scheduling
- As dictated by the Relationship Manager, schedules reviews at specific intervals throughout the year
- Completes (or confirms that) all preparation for the appointment required by the Relationship Manager
- Create proposals
- Update financial plans
- Create illustrations
- Pull performance reports
- Follows scheduling procedure to set and confirm appointments
- Completes all appointment follow-ups as dictated by the Relationship Manager
- Subject matter expert topics
- Every Relationship Coordinator is assigned one or two topics to be the subject matter expert (SME) for. It is the responsibility of the SME to stay up-to-date of all changes to their topic and update the procedure and let the team know.
- Occasionally SMEs will be asked to present their topics to the group.
- Task management
- Use CRM to create, track, and complete tasks
- Update tasks with all relevant information
- Manage workload by prioritizing tasks and reaching out to the Lead Relationship Coordinator if assistance is required
- Account opening and maintenance
- Obtains required information from the client and the Relationship Manager to complete the account opening process
- Coordinates with back office to ascertain what information and/or forms are required for each account required
- Sets appropriate expectations with the client and the Relationship Manager as to when the account will be opened and then funded
- Follows Onboarding/New Account procedures
- Diligently updates the client and the Relationship Manager
- Update accounts as requested by the client or the Relationship Manager
- Respond to home office requests regarding insufficient funds or address changes, etc.
- Household accounts appropriately for fee purposes
- Teamwork
- Assists other Relationship Coordinators when out of the office or when overwhelmed
- Trains new Relationship Coordinators as needed
- Proactively researches SME topics and updates the team with any changes

- Prepare and review insurance applications
- Work with back office to arrange medical, and paramedical exams as needed
